After settling her parents’ affairs (including selling their home in order to pay off the mortgage), Quinn Alexander realizes she has less than $18,000 simoleons in the bank. Scraping together every last penny she can find, she moves herself out of her studio apartment in Riverview and purchases a small, furnished 2-bedroom home in Sunset Valley.

She was able to purchase the home cheaply because of a water main break that flooded the house. The owners agreed to sell it to her for $5,000 less than the asking price if she agreed to take care of all repairs.

Quinn was unable to afford to hire a repairman, but she figured she would be capable enough to repair the leaks herself. She had not yet seen the damage, or else she would have known it would be more than she’d be able to handle. After unpacking, she immediately began working on the leaky bathtub, with Kendra following behind her with a mop.

Halfway through the repairs on the bathtub, Kendra loses her patience and goes to read a book in her bedroom. Quinn finally finishes the bathtub and begins working on the bathroom sink when she hears a knock at the front door. Wondering who it could be, she cautiously makes her way to the door.

The man at the door introduces himself as Clark Sauer, plumber, and one of their new neighbors. He heard about the leaks and knew a young woman and her little sister would not be able to properly fix the problem, and offered his services for free.

After he’s finished, Kendra begins cleaning while Quinn expresses her gratitude and tries her hand at carrying on a friendly conversation. She hasn’t been very social since her parents’ deaths, and even this little bit of friendly contact is hard for her.

Wow! This is hilarious!
In my first post, my sim was living in this house and moved out because the dishwasher and sink broke!!!!
Is this a coincidence or what?! Awesome!
It was the weirdest thing… I purchased the house for them and the game asked if I wanted to accept the challenge of dealing with the water main break or not… I did, because I thought it would make the story a little more interesting. And it did!
Thanks!
one of the pictures isn’t visible
Thanks! I think I fixed it…
Hm. Jumps into it a little fast, but your storyline is good. I’ll continue to comment if I’m still reading it. =)
its really good!! It just jumps in a little fast but I’m already addicted
