So far, the day isn’t going well for Quinn. First, she woke up at 5:30 a.m. starving.

Then, the toilet clogs up and she has to unclog it.

After that, she receives a phone call from her new enemy, Abraham Finkel, asking if she can fix his television. She begins to turn him down, until he tells her he will pay her $500, and she has a few things she could do with that money.

After she fixes Abraham’s television, she decides to hold onto it for a few hours and get some use out of it before going downtown to run some errands.

Once she’s gotten her fill of TV, Quinn goes to find Abraham, and manages to finish up the business transaction without fighting him. She then sets about her errands, including stopping at a few stores, then going by the library to practice writing. She wants to write a memoir about her parents’ lives.

Meanwhile, Kendra decides to go to her new friend Mortimer Goth’s house after school. Mortimer’s family is rich and lives in one of the largest homes Kendra has ever seen. She remembers back on the days when she lived comfortably in her parents’ house, with more toys than she could ever count, and feels a little resentment towards her new friend. She wishes she had even a single toy to play with.

She feels bad about behaving badly towards Mortimer, after all, it isn’t his fault he’s rich and she isn’t anymore. She begs his forgiveness for her rudeness, and he accepts, showing her to his room so they can play.

After she leaves Mortimer’s, Kendra goes home. To her surprise, she walks in to find a hot meal waiting for her, and a new stove and kitchen counter where the burned ones used to sit.

After she eats, Quinn sits down with her and helps her with her homework.

And, as if that wasn’t enough, she goes into her room to get ready for bed and finds a brand new stuffed teddy bear waiting for her, with a note on it: “To my little sister, I hope you know how much I love you.”
Next: Mom’s Birthday
Note: I am getting ready to go out of town for a week. I will have my computer with me and hope to be able to update while I’m away, but if not, expect a few long entries next Tuesday (when I get home). I will continue to play and mold the story. Thanks for all your views and comments!!
Awww… the end is so sweet! :’) But it was just hilarious that Abraham asked her to fix his TV XD I love the way you write about their feelings and thoughts, by the way
great update! can’t wait to see what happens next. I’m glad Kendra got a teddy bear….ya know if she keeps it in her inventory when she sleeps she’ll get a positive moodlet, its kinda cute.

I’m enjoying watching the story develop. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
i love this blog, it’s so sweet.
this is one of the few sims blogs that can keep up with and get really interested in. The characters are engaging and it is very well written.
Keep up the good work!
sorry i mean “that I can keep up with”
This is good! Keep it up! I hope it doesn’t get worse, cuz I noticed a gigantic drop in quality of a few very popular blogs on wordpress. (I won’t say, cuz I don’t really want to be rude. Just about everyone reads it and has noticed.)
